Monica, Thank you so much for spending some time with my daughter Stephanie and I today. I’ve brought my Jewels of Opar plant home and will try to give it a happy spot. We truly enjoyed our walk through your garden today. I was so excited to see that it was open.
Thank you again and God bless.

I MOVED INTO THE VALRICO AREA A LITTLE LESS THAN A YEAR AGO AND ABSOLUTELY LOVE GARDENING. I HAVE A LOT OF PLANTS IN POTS AND WOULD LOVE TO JOIN A GARDEN CLUB IN THE AREA. I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO READING YOUR PAGE IN THE NEWSPAPER BECAUSE I NEED SO MUCH HELP, LOL. CAN YOU RECOMMEND ANY CLUBS IN THE AREA.
THANKS

Debra,
I know there is a very active club in Riverview, call Verna Dickey 685-1055 and one in Plant City, Eileen Reed, 323-0908. There used to be one in Valrico but I don’t know if there is still. You might call the county extension office and ask. Also, when you find the where and when, you can go as a visitor. There are many classes and much free information at the Extension Office in Seffner and check out my books. They are all available at the library. You do not say where you lived before, but Florida gardening can be frustrating if you come from the north. But it is easy to learn and you’ll have many successes from the very first. Monica
